Flavio! Coolness!

Well, Mike Milo's cartoon Flavio finally premiered on January 24th, 2009 on the Nicktoons channel. If you didn't get a chance to see it, check to see if you have the Nicktoons channel on your local cable or satellite provider, and check local listings for the show Random Cartoons. I'm sure they'll be rerunning the show with Flavio.

I caught the initial broadcast and it was great to see Mike's latest effort on the air. Clearly he's been busy! We both have- I've been plugging away at my job at Fox and haven't had much time for other projects lately.

Check out Flavio when you get the chance!

Man, Nicktoons is one of the SDV channels with my provider, and since I have a TiVo box and not the cable company’s DVR it’s one of the channels that doesn’t come in properly (even with the tuner device that’s suppose to take care of that problem).

And it really blows since Nicktoons, in addition to being the home of Flavio, is where the new Wolverine and the X-Men show runs. Not that I, as a somewhat responsible adult spend time watching cartoons (ok, ok, I totally do).

And I owe you an email response. Things got truly hectic here for the past couple of weeks though (not a good excuse I know).

I think they should call it Nicktoons NOT-work because no one I know even HAS that channel! Hey I got a great idea! Let’s spend 2 million on cartoons and then air them on a throwaway channel. Sad, really sad. Thanks for the shout-out Harry, you’re one of the 23 and a 1/3 that saw it live.

As luck would have it, I get Nicktoons via DirecTV. So I was able to tivo Flavio and thus far, all the other Random Cartoon episodes.

James, hectic schedule? I don’t think I’ve ever had one of those!
